Not sure exactly what you meant by this, unless you're referring to the
unavailability of kde3 from standard sources . . . if you want kde3 on
debian, you can add the following to your source.list file...

deb
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/packages/desktops/kde/stable/3.0.5a/Debian/woody/
./

(all one line, of couse). Last I checked, it didn't have -all- the kde3
packages, but, it did have all of the core packages needed to install
kde3. Hope this helps.
