Other sources I've used for the Pico PSU:

CaseOutlet

Mini-Box
    http://www.mini-box.com/site/index.html

Mini-Box has a PCI power brackets for easy conversions to a DC-DC power supply
and external power brick if you're using a traditional atx case.

Both sell power bricks and small cases.

An alternative to using a CF to IDE adapter with a CF card is to use a
Disk-on-Module
which saves some space and mounting by plugging directly into an IDE connector
on the motherboard. For some reason most suppliers have a 6 day lead time, which
means I probably haven't found the best distributor yet. I've used
these to build a
Freenas box with a Geode NX 1750 and a Biostar M7VIG motherboard as well
as with several Via motherboards.

If anyone knows where to get the following I would be grateful.

I'd like to find a small tower case *without* a traditional power
supply opening to use
with via mini-itx motherboards as Pico-PSU and an external power
brick. A (large)
case fan would be ok. The goal is to build a fanless machine in a
larger case than
usual to provide lots of air/work space between components. Mounting a
slimline dvd
in a regular case may be a challenge. I may just end up with a old atx case with
lots of extra "vents" where the power supply and regular DVD drive used to be.

I'd also like to find a source for AMD Geode NX 1500 CPU's so I can
convert some 1750's to fanless operation for an ipcop router with DSL
modem card.

Thanks
