[Tfug] network question

Hello,

I may be setting up a windows 2000 network soon. I'd rather not have any 
win2k boxes connected directly to the internet. Can anyone recommend a 
good book on using Linux as a firewall/router? It would probably run on 
Mandrake 9.1 or Slackware 9.1, because I already have those distros.

Also, I am wiring a building with cat5. I haven't really done this sort 
of thing before except on a small scale. Is there a good book on how to 
wire a building, select components (patch panels, cabling, hubs, etc.), 
and design a mid-sized network (40 clients to start, maybe going as high 
as 60)?
