Not sure which modem it was.. its been 6 months or so.  Simple cat 5 
direct from modem to single PC setup.  After the sys  was not able to 
get an IP via DHCP I installed the software or at least tried to.  
Install hung or crashed each time i tried.  Finally plugged it into a RH 
9 box and it worked perfectly untill passport starting having issues.  
Of course it took 3 days of being unable to auth and get a connection to 
anything other than passport before a rep finally aknowledged that they 
were having passport issues.
