[Tfug] A LUG for UA?

I tend to agree that yet-another-linuxy-group is unnecessary. I would
love to see a revitalization of tfug.
To me, the difference between tfug and a ualug would be a) the exclusion of
*bsd and its ilk and b) the exclusion of non-ua people. Both of these
things would be bad in my mind since tfug is not exactly overgrown.
I think it would be great to have tfug events on campus and recruit more
students. So my vote would be to put your energies into promoting and
adapting tfug to reach out to more people and help evolve it into what
you are looking for.
I look forward to the lecture style meetings starting up again, and I
could see the BYOB meetings being particular useful if we started
getting more attendence (especially newbies).
FWIW: I greatly appreciate those who do organize meetings and make
locations availble. I like to attend, but I don't have much time to put
into it beyond that, so I'll call this my 1.5 cents worth.
Cheers,
JDR
