[Tfug] Crazzy Screen Blanking

Hey Guys,

	I'm stumped. I've got a nForce motherboard with Debian testing 
installed. Lilo loads the kernel and displays all the little ..... as 
it begins to uncompress. But when is gets to the last . and it attempts 
to initailize the screen, it flickers and goes blank. The weird thing 
is, is that it happens part of the time with the four 2.4 kernels I've 
tested it with. It doesn't seem to have with problem with the 2.2.20 
kernel at all. I've tried both 2.4.19, 2.4.20 with both gcc-2.95 and 
gcc-3.2 AND both Debian kernel-image packes. I've even added vga=ask to 
lilo.conf. I'm totally confussed and there doesn't seem to be any 
reason why it would only work part of the time. I've restored the BIOS 
on the motherboard to the defaults and right now I'm just plain pissed 
off.... Does anybody have any ideas or has seen this before? If you 
don't have a solution, a possible explanation would at least make me 
feel better....
