[Tfug] XP and Debian

Sunday I'm bringing my brand new hard drive, with my XP disc. I want to
leave with Debian copied from my present (small) hard drive, and XP.
Last week, someone mentioned that XP doesnt' get along well with Debian. As
a practical matter, XP doesn't get along with anyone. (Dogs get to look like
their owners) Apparently it doesn't like to be anything but the base. I'm
told that the way to go with this is a virtual partition. First you install
XP then virtually petition the hard drive and go ahead with your linux
installation.
I don't have the virtual partition software. It's not a big deal, and the
purpose of this post is to ask whomever has such a piece of software to
bring it Sunday. I'll be there a little early. I'm going to need  help.
School is out. Harry's turned another bunch of us loose. We don't have a
clue what we're doing, but we're enthusiastic.
