There's an article in the Wall Street Journal, (a few weeks back),
that warns of getting too enamoured of 802.11a/b because the FCC may
clamp down on it. The whole idea of stealing communications bandwidth
has never sat well with the FCC.
Meanwhile many little "mom & pop" communications businesses have
popped up to capatalize on it. They may disappear.
