After a lot of diagnosing of the past few weeks I've come to the conclusion
this is a deliberate tact by Newsfeeds. It seems as though their deliberately
holding connection for 10 to 15 minutes past the close to throw superious
errors and cut down on user's bandwidth. I jump back and forth between
newgroups frequently so I get hit.
