Earlier this afternoon I went to the Qwest web site and downloaded the
2.4.5 CBOS upgrade, and installed it successfully on my 678. It was a
pretty painless process, although the laptop I was using to do it is
running Windows XP Pro, and the directions on Qwest's web site assume
you have Hyperterminal installed. Windows XP doesn't come with
Hyperterminal, so I had to use TeraTerm.

I know, I know, this isn't a Windows chat group. I only posted this to
encourage those of you with Cisco 67x equipment to do the upgrade, since
it's pretty painless, at least if you can do it in Windows. Of course,
no mention on Qwest's site about how to do it in Linux/Unix (Mac
instructions though!), but I suspect that intermediate/advanced Linux
users with knowledge of CBOS can figure out how to get the necessary
file onto the router.
