I say any impropriety must be dealt with.  I say if they are crooked put them in jail.

Of course, the distinction between ACORN and Gingrich is that ACORN was the messenger, and flagged thousands of fraudulent voter registrations. Gingrich's campaign was helped by fraudulent votes -- not voter registrations.

Big difference: one results in extra checking, but no fraudulent votes being cast; the other results in a has-been getting onto the ballot. As they say in Texas: "oops".

All I have to do is hear about ACORN and I know voter fraud is alive and well.

Maybe you should illustrate a real voter fraud issue.  The DOJ (under GW Bush) spent 5 years trying to ferret out voter fraud and only came up with 88 convictions.  Out of all cases tried over 5 years (80k/year),  that's a rate of 0.00022%.

I have to respect Keith's effort, if only because either two major political parties in this country have no interest into listening to the electorate...No matter what side of the spectrum you sit, it seems that monied interests have more sway than schmucks like us.  It's real easy to pit us against each other over wedge issues than bothering to solve problems in this country...   :-/
