Hi,

Two ideas...

Every time I've installed Cinelerra it's been a real adventure
consisting of endless google searches for the secret little tidbits
about things that people have done to get it to work. And of course, all
those tidbits that I pieced together have been specific to my distrob
and the such.

There were commands that I needed to do each time I did an upgrade to
get cinelerra working but it's so specific to my distrob. I think this
was what I would do after a yum update... and even if it applies to your
situation, you would have to search these paths to see if they exist on
your distrob, then change the version numbers (etc)... but it's worth a
try...

ln -s /usr/lib/libavcodec.so.51.71.0 /usr/lib/libavcodec.so.52
mv /usr/lib/libavcodec.so.52 /usr/lib/bkp.libavcodec.so.52

If that doesn't work... I used to use a live bootable multimedia distrob
and ran cinelerra off that. The last one I used (and that was a few
years ago) was "DyneBolic" but I'm sure there's others out there that
include cinelerra.

Hope that helped,
Rocco
