I run kubuntu 32 bit karmic+KDE4.4.1 with the pae kernel on a T61 with
knetworkmanager and have absolutely no problems with wireless at all. I
have an "N" network at the house using WPA and it has no problems with
it. I have a "G" PEAP/MCHAP2 at work and it works flawlessly. I have
simple WEP at church with multiple access points and it works. I have
never had any trouble at hotspots, airports or hotels either. It just
works :)
