Great, looks like "Eric" got back on the mailing list some how. Anyone 
remember that guy? He would post historical ramblings _exactly_ like this.

Honestly, I can't make heads or tails of this and it's also _very_ 
annoying. I'm keeping my eye on you, "Mike"...
