OK,
        I guess what I'm saying is that MS succeptability to attacks,
especially to naive users, is the only thing that keeps Linux around
as an alternative. However Linux is asking for trouble. The ever
expanding complexity of the kernel and other applications makes
it more difficult to install and integrate hardware to do what you
want it to. See my original post. Since my last successful install
(10 months ago), there have been 6 upgrades of the kernel
2.6.25 to 2.6.31. Never mind counting revisions, (r1,r2..rx)
