[Tfug] iPods

I'm not sure. I'll try to remember to look at it tonight. I know I just
dragged my contacts list onto it. But I am using iTunes for the mp3s.

Does it require any special drivers, etc. (or, does it just look like a
"mass storage device")?

I like the Shuffle because I can plug it into damn near any computer and
just drag files onto it (like a disk). I have a tiny little application
that rebuilds the "control files"
on it so that the Shuffle knows what to play, etc.

This is a win as I can almost always find a computer that I can do this with
(regardless of whether or not iTunes is installed, etc.). I probably should
recompile the code for Mac's as well -- though I find so few of them that it
might just be a waste of a few KB :-/

Unfortunately, for a larger iPod, my naive playlist tool would be a pain in
the *ss since it doesn't give you any control over what gets played and the
order thereof. (hence the reason for writing a better app to do this).

Thx,
