 I hate the OSX GUI.   It is very hard to mold to my way of working with a
GUI.   KDE and GNOME at least add some degree of customization even to the
non-technical.    I have abandoned GNOME though because of Sawfish, sawmill
or what ever it is call these days for the way it restricts configureation
by end users.
