[Tfug] 2 weeks of Hackintosh fun..

We had a little experiment where I work... Our team lead asked that we
all use Ubuntu as our primary desktop. Not a problem for me, since i've
been using Linux for like 10 years.. I can get around anything that
poses itself as a problem. A few months in, the non-Linux-literate
among us wishes to go back to Windows..even though they hate Windows..
They want to go back to Windows because desktop Linux is flaky,
functionally and visually inconsistent, crash-prone, confusing, and
frustrating....And these are people who've been working in IT for a
decade or more. BETTER test subjects than average users.

The proof is in the numbers... If it was ready for prime time, it would
be already.

Cheers,
Bowie
