Whoops, my bad. Sorry.

And then a short time later, christopher wrote:

Isn't xournal a notepad for tablet machines? How flexible is it if
you're on a non-tablet system? (Or, alternatively, are you using a
stylus & tablet?)

I recall reading about xournal a few years back (I've been looking to
annotate PDFs for a while so I'm *really* excited about flpsed). If I
understand correctly, it doesn't actually let you annotate PDFs but
simulates it by letting you use a PDF as a background image for the
journal.

Ahh, here it is:
http://xournal.sourceforge.net/manual.html#pdfannotate

Basically, from what I can tell, the annotations are kept in the
"journal" not with the PDF document. Therefore, you'll only see the
annotation when using xournal and you can't send an annotated PDF to
somebody else (unless they're also using xournal and you send them all
the necessary files, etc).

This might work for some uses but it seems pretty inflexible. Unless
I'm missing something?

Claude
