That is disappointing. I had hoped that Ubuntu would retain more 
compatibility with Debian in system utilities. I was already 
aware that there were enhancements that are not compatible, but I 
did not realize they had removed such functionality.

I am too lazy to learn another way to do all the things I've 
learned on Debian. So I'll probably never setup an Ubuntu box for 
myself or anyone else.
