[Tfug] Annoying Terminal Problem

I do not get it. Why do you use PuTTY on *nix machine? Go to shell and use 
ssh or telnet. Are we talking about the same PuTTY?
If you use MS-DOS install cygwin and use it as Unix.

If you need remote desktop use VNC and that is the end of story.
