I'm planning to rebuild my home server and thought I'd move to SATA for 
the additional storage space. After looking at 
http://linux-ata.org/driver-status.html it looks like the two most ideal 
cards are either AHCI or Silicon Image 3124 based cards.

Has anyone built a system recently using SATA and if so what card are 
you using along with what drive?

I'm looking for a card for an Intel SAI2 motherboard. It can accommodate 
either a 64bit/66Mhz/3.3v, or a 32bit/33Mhz/5v PCI card. Any 
recommendations?
