I've experienced the same thing while installing add-ons for
Iceweasel.  It has to do with the name your browser is identifying
itself with.  Here's a workaround:

1) go to about:config ( just enter that as the URL )
2) filter for "agent"
3) change the value of the key "general.useragent.extra.firefox" from
   "Iceweasel" to "Firefox"

Voila!  now your add-on should install.
