Google show 14 inbound links. A PR of 5 w/14 inbound links is good.

The Tfug site has a number of things going for it. One is the domain was Created On:15-Mar-1998 05:00:00 UTC and it's Expiration Date:14-Mar-2008 05:00:00 UTC.

With a little work the Tfug site could pay for itself in no time.

1) keyword research.
2) contributed content that matches those keywords.
3) a few more inbound links with the right keyword in the anchor text.
4) and believe it or not a few outbound links with the right keyword in the anchor text - especially within matching content.

Interesting ..... I've been on this list since 99 or so. One common theme has been no structure...... would be funny if the Tfug website became a profit center. Kinda ironic.

The good thing would be those who submit articles could become the expert and would get a link back to their site. This is what the Internet is all about COMMUNITY.

I would be interested in building some infrastructure to make it happen.

Thoughts?

It appears google has changed they way they report inbound links so I cannot check that now.

With a page rank of 5 and a little content the site might make a few $.

Since I no longer work there I have to pay the going rate out of pocket.

Tyler pays for the renewal of the domain each year which amounts to the
cost of a happy meal from McDonalds. How did end up with the cheap side of
the deal. Grrrr.
