Before the monopoly suit was brought against them, MS use to spend very little
if anything at all on lobbyist.  They have since learned that throwing money
around on Capital Hill can get laws changed in their favor that would help bring
in more money than ever before (or help get lawsuits virtually thrown out of the
courtroom).

I've met some of the network nazis found through out the military.  As clueless
as the majority of them that I've met are, I wouldn't want them anywhere near a
linux or unix machine.  And that doesn't include all of the ones given the title
of Admin over a handfull of desktops, who don't even have the knowledge or
experience anywhere near an MCSE.
