[Tfug] Annoying cookies

    I  keep getting error messages from Mozilla:

                              The operation timed out when attempting to 
contact view.atdmt.com

    Evidently this is a connection to an advertizer on financial & 
investing websites. A check
of Netcraft shows that Netcraft was able to contact them. Anyway I 
deleted the cookie
but the message still occurs when I visit financial websites, (Bloomberg 
<http://www.bloomberg.com/>, CNN Money <http://money.cnn.com/>)
     Apparently the process that plants the cookie has a life of its own 
even when the
