Does anyone know why I can't view fits images anymore with my fitsviewer?  
It used to just work.

It seems the image is there because everything else works, the intensity 
plots and such, but the image isn't showing up as a thumbnail in the POW, 
nor in the main display.  I'm running debian so I removed it and then 
reinstalled it, even downloaded some new fitsfiles. It seems the color bar 
doesn't show up either.   Well, it does show up, but it's blank.  Some 
pictures are black and white, but the pixels just don't show up, because the 
Make Contour Map function draws stuff out.   Some errors I get are "select a 
file with an image."  something about reading a "curring" something.... It 
used to just work; did I click something somewhere.  The ImagePixel and 
PixelValues don't show up in the POW, the words are there, but they're 
blank.   I tried it as IRAF user, and as root; but no changes.  Can it be a 
setting in IRAF?
