I wanted to make a few simple mechanical 2D/3D drawings and was wondering  
which CAD application under Linux might be good to try out. I have used  
AutoCAD sparingly in Windows some 7 years ago, and I defintely don't need  
anything with its capabilities. I saw some interesting apps -QCAD,  
VariCAD, Cycas, all of which were time-limited or demos. Any good free  
apps there just to do simple mechanical drawings?
