Hi Jeremy,

   Why not just use SSH to tunnel SMTP from home to your university 
box?  You want to use your university email but  send from home right?  
If you can run Outlook at home (whether in windows or in Linux with 
codeweavers) you could even tunnel the exchange ports.  Is your 
university box running Linux?
