I had him do some work a few years back, retrieving data from a corrupted 
Taravan tape. Despite the Taravan drive having started to "format" the tape 
(I yanked it out as soon as I noticed) and the Taravan software declaring the 
tape dead... he was able to easily retreive the data for me... Fairly nice 
guy, works out of his appartment in the foothills off Oracle... computers, 
gutted drives, tapedecks, and misc hardware everywhere...
