That makes some sense:
dd tells me that the first 8000 (hex) bytes of sarge-i386-netinst.iso is
zero (as well as the burned copy) unless there is something dumb about
the following command:
dd if=/tmp/sarge-i386-netinst.iso count=100| hd | less
