Grasping at straws (because I do this sort of thing all the time and it
works fine), and not knowing how you "broke" the example (I'm assuming the
use of [] instead of <> is part of that), what about the missing " after
"link.html  ??

Sorry if this is a stupid answer, but I've done this sort of thing before
and it drove me bats.
