Ok, I hope I can explain what I want to do.  I have a crappy old laptop that
I'm working on turning into an mp3 playing appliance for my entertainment
center.  Using SSH, mp3blaster, a wlan card in the laptop and an NFS server
hosting my music collection, I can make this work quite well.  But I'd like
a
better interface to control the laptop remotely.  Are there any web-based
projects out there that will do the same thing I'm doing with mp3blaster on
the laptop?  Everything I've found is for streaming from a server to a
*local* PC, not for controlling a *remote* PC.  I'd like something that's
OS-independent because my wife still uses Windows (thus my request for
web-based).
