[Tfug] MP3 players and Linux

iPod!  no ogg, but aac, mp3,wav, and i understand the newest firmware to 
which i have not upgraded supports some sort of lossless encoding.

the itunes music store files are now basically an open format (see 
videolan client for details), so that's nice.  the store itself has yet 
to be reverse engineered, as far as i know, so you still have to buy on 
windows or mac, but then you can play on linux.

there's also a nice interface (to which I have contributed a little 
code) at gtkpod.sf.net
