[Tfug] A LUG for UA?

I am a relatively recent Linux convert (about 6 months ago, tried Fedora
Core but instantly fell for SuSE) While speaking with a friend of mine
at ASU, he had told me he went to an install-fest that the school-LUG
(ASULUG) had put on. He said it was interesting, and he learned a lot
from his experience (and he too is now a Linux convert.) Looking into
the Tucson area, I know we have TFUG but no similar student
organization. I would like to start such a group, but I have some
questions -
Would it be worthwhile to start a LUG for the UA?
Does TFUG cover most of the Linux users in town (UA students included)?
Is there room in Tucson for more than one LUG?
Are there any reasons why I should/should not start up this LUG?
I haven't returned to Tucson yet (summer vacation in Yuma) but upon my
return I would like to attend a TFUG meeting or at least speak with
someone about this issue. Any other input given would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you all!
Sincerely,
