If A and B are two sets taken from some universe U,
then the intersection of A and B written A ½ B, is the
set containing all elements common to sets A and B.

Given two sets A and B taken from some universe U,
then A minus B, written AB is the set of all elements
that are in A but not in B.

If A and B are two sets taken from some universe U,
then the union of A and B written AUB, is the set
containing any element of either A or B

ergo :

(A ½ B)U(AB)=A
