I know exactly what you mean about the India thing. I did 98/Me support also. I'm in the SBC project now. Welcome!

Hello,
New member here. Figured I would introduce myself. My name is Shaun
Dixon. I am currently in CIS225 at Pima taught by Christopher Fox. I
just finished CIS137 taught by this guy who calls himself "Paul
Scott". This guy knew NOTHING about unix or computers in general...
Hahah ok just kidding Paul :) I know your on the list somewhere here.
Learned some neat things in the CIS137 which ended up being rather
useful so far in CIS225. CIS225 is the "Linux System and Network
Adminstration" class, and we just got done installing Debian using KDE
for the xserver.
Ive been "using" OpenBSD for about 5-6 years now. I say "using" but
its more like "watching it run itself" as I definately do not know how
to use it very well yet. Ive set it up as a DNS and a webserver,
before I decided to host my website on a faster server, and not on my
home connection. My main interest is in the BSD platform and
specifically security related topics to Unix.
I work in Tech Support, currently with American Express Software
Support that I started after my 3rd job had been outsourced to India.
My last job was working as a Microsoft Support Professional,
supporting Windows 95, 98, ME, and XP. Really enjoyed that, and
learned an incredible ammount of things supporting windows.
Well thats it for me, There are some others from my class who are
joining up, I pass the Microphone to them now :p
