Keith,

I have seen this on laptops reguardless of the OS.

At first I thought it was inadvertant bumping the mouse buttons. I have
tried to make sure I did not touch the buttons and yet the mouse would
click on randome places. I think it is due to static build up around
the mouse and its buttons. Fixed by external mouse and disabled in bios
the local mouse.
