[Tfug] ZoneMinder resource requirements

Hi,

Given what I've (not) found on-line, I suspect this is
probably not an easy one to answer. But...

I'm looking for some ideas as to what sort of resource
requirements (specifically, MIPS) ZoneMinder requires
PER CAMERA. Ideally, something like:
    MIPS/(pel-fps)
I.e., more pels requires more MIPS; as does more fps.

I suspect this is especially difficult to determine
from most typical ZM implementations as all the daemons
often run on the same host.

I'm, instead, looking to see what can be done *at* the
camera to offload most of the computational burden from
the system as a whole (i.e., so you can more easily
support *more* cameras concurrently).

It seems like zma should be the biggest resource hog
in terms of computational complexity. Hence, most
appropriate to tie to the camera.

Any data points from folks running ZM on otherwise
"un/lightly-loaded" machines?

Thx,
--don
