[Tfug] Computer Swap Meet ideas

Have gotten permission to hold computer/ audiovisual/ electronics swap 
meet at WorldCare in mid-Sept.  We have lots of desktops, laptops, 
servers, games, stereos, etc that are piling up.  We would be hoping to 
sell some of them off and find them worthy homes.

Hoping to get enough interested technical people there to make it 
worthwhile.  Any ideas to make this an enjoyable, productive event for 
all concerned?  (All ideas would obviously have to be vetted by 
WorldCare administration.)

1. Selling tables so that others could sell their excess gear.

2. Selling tables for consultants

3. Giving away old laptops and stereos as prizes.

4. Having a car-puter show

5. Having intro classes by specialists on pet projects - Asterisk, media 
servers, etc.

6. Desks for introducing TFUG, TCS possibly Pima UA MIS

7.?



/P.S. Beer is probably not a good option even though everything is 
better with beer...../
