Have you considered outsourcing your email (Tuffmail, FastMail.fm,
Google Apps, etc.) or at least moving to a server hosted in a
datacenter? You can get a Linode VPS for $20/mo these days, and it's
more than enough for simple web/mail hosting. I used to run my own
mail server, but the hassle of it (stuff like this thread) started to
outweigh the novelty/control of it.
