Other than proper grounding and being super careful, what almost got me  
were these two:

1. Don't forget to put the spacers in between the motherboard and the box.
2. Spend the extra $50 on a good CPU cooler, make sure it's a fit for the  
CPU socket, and don't use too much thermal paste.
