[Tfug] advice

It's true it works both ways... what I've been seeing a lot lately
are financially desperate developers headed for burnout. Having been
through the 'startup' scene, these 'opportunities' rarely live up to
their (tacit) promises. Ive just visited several shops here in phx
who have the familiar revolving door of developers, speak no evil
about the code base, etc. For most sectors its probably a good move
to imitate existing platforms and start to compete on feature
innovations, because most of these companies have a junk inflexible
code base and you can snatch up their users with ease. Just because
you carve out a market niche doesnt mean you own it. ;)

btw- I noticed that Phoenix craigslist is starting to charge for job
postings. Also, continuing to see the characteristic lack of
professionalism here, this raises overhead required to obtain
employment further detracting from the general health of the job
market. People who are invested in Arizona should be very concerned,
no job market = no tax base = lower property values , etc. etc.
