*What* is 5Mb/s -- per node, the Comcast connection, up vs. down,
etc.?

Are you using a HUB or a SWITCH?

What applications are getting this bandwidth?  Have you tried
just transfering files between YOUR two machines to see what
sort of bandwidth you *might* get?
