I remember those days before the PC became common in business and in our homes.  How did we live without the Internet, Laptops, and Cellular?  Yikes!!

The biggest threat this country faces is NOT what an outside force may
do to our beloved shiny things. The biggest threat to our nation is
that we've forgotten *how to get along without* our shiny things. 



We're already seeing it. Half this country can't find its own ass with
both hands and a Garmin. The other half will starve without a cell
phone. That's not to say we should all go Amish, but, we've lost sight
of the fact that human beings can, and always have functioned
successfully without these things. Soon we will have forgotten how,
alltogether.
