[Tfug] Netbooks and Linux - suggestions?

Not at all, but, if I recall correctly from Best Buy (and I may be completely
wrong here), all of the eeePCs I saw used Intel's GMA 500 chipset for video.
As previously discussed, that thing should be avoided like the plague.
Anyway, perhaps I wrongly assumed that all eeePCs (or all current models) used
that chip?

Ah, just checked Newegg's selection.  I guess it was just a fluke because
Newegg has plenty of eeePCs that don't use the GMA 500.

So... I'll have to browse and compare though those as well, it seems.
