I have to side with Bowie on this.   It may be mean, i doubt that it is lean
and the only fighting will be to maintain the sucker.   There is a place for
human coded asm, but boy is it rare.  Intel 's ICC has very controllable
optimizations, and hard to think of and need to ASM.  If you wish to learn
from it all well and good,  but I'd think learning higher level languages a
better option.
