[Tfug] Advice on Powerbuilder app migration

Randy, my preference for a replacement technology would be Java.  It
fits several of the criteria you mentioned, including: a rich set of
APIs, an easy way to build and distribute "fat clients", as well as
a very large number of development tools.  Finally, I think it's safe
to say that Java is going to be around for foreseeable future, even if
IBM does acquire Sun.

PS. I'm not referring to "Enterprise Java", as I have very little
experience with that; but that certainly is an option, if you must have
a web-based application.
