Damn you, Bowie Poag.  Damn you to hell, you and your sobering news.
You've ruined the euphoria of my Ubuntu-addled mind.  I've no choice
but to check in to rehab now, and dream of the day that I can live
without my inconsistent, inelegant, nonfunctional, unstable and
inefficient desktop computing platform of choice. ;-)
