[Tfug] DVD Writing

For data backups, DVD+R is preferred because it has better error
correction as well as some other technical reasons I don't quite
understand:

For home movies (that you'll distribute), use DVD-R, to handle some
older DVD players.  For everything else, use DVD+R.
